Day 1:
Start your adventure with a tuk-tuk ride from Nong Khiaw to the remote villages of Ban Naluang, Lao Khmu, and Hmong. Break for lunch and explore the village. Continue to the small village of Tai Lao, Khmu, and Hmong, and learn how to make bamboo handicrafts with the local people.
In the evening, cook and dine with the villagers and spend the night in the village.
Day 2:
After breakfast, take a boat to Muang Noi village. Visit a historical cave, the Phanoi viewpoint, and walk around the village. Enjoy lunch and continue to Sopkong village.
Trek for 1 hour to Tad Mork Waterfall. Swim in the cool waterfall pool and return to the river bank for kayaking downstream. Spot many bird species, water buffalo, and fishermen. Enjoy the quiet peace of the Nam Ou River.
